The log file is a sequential file opened for writing, which is closed and stored at regular intervals and made available for:

- analysis of error reports,
- production statistics for the year, such as those of traffic in web services
- recovery of previous situations
- analysis of the changes made in the database
- analysis of operations done and those responsible for such operations
- summary of what happened in a given period of time such as in chat.
